What is the Cancer Champion Project
The Cancer Champion Project aims to encourage cancer screening, self-checking and to promote cancer awareness.
Cancer Champions are volunteers from the local community who will be trained to:

encourage attendance at screening appointments

promote lifestyle changes to help prevent cancer

raise awareness among high risk groups

dispel myths and misconceptions

share information
Our Team
Our Cancer Champion Co-ordinators will be hold training sessions and raising awareness throughout North Cumbria.
